Spot on Jayant. Perfect summing up. India, is heading in the same direction in which Pakistan ventured a few decades ago.
2. Hindutva, is nothing but a form of collectivism, where the leaders are placed above the law. Note the impunity with which these thugs are spewing venom.
3. The Hindu civilization, like the rest were always a collectivist society, where the leaders (even at home), used to make the followers grovel and touch the feet and prostrate full length. The people who followed were given credit as the good, the noble and all such crap. The idea was domination. The tool used was "the altruistic moral code".
As long as the educated Hindus do not see this truth, they will be dragging the others into the abyss that is waiting.
4. The Ray of hope are the modern youth. They have been exposed to a lifestyle, which the prehistoric savages will find difficult to overcome. The day the youth rises, these thugs will have no place to hide. The youth, who are used to the kind of western lifestyle, will have no pity for them. They will be the saviors, the warriors for liberty. It will happen sooner in India and then in Pakistan too.
