Sane voices in India don’t stand a chance because Indian elections can at best be fair, but not FREE. Anybody has to agree to secularism and socialism (introduced into constitution during emergency) to start a new party. Marvellous in intention(even ignoring the fact that socialism and welfare state has produced ONLY mass murder), but wait a minute, both are ideologies – and it is well known ideologies can turn into it’s opposite.

Thus strangely secularism can turn into a new religion. Lo behold the spectacle of Yediyurappa shifting Vidhana Soudha into a chamber of Siddganga Mutt (most of free time he was in the Mutt). Congress on the other hand is shifting all the mutts into a chamber of Vidhana Soudha!!

Logically conditional freedom is opposite of freedom, especially in human affairs. All restriction on starting of political parties should be removed trusting wisdom of voters.
