The first thing is to not to insist on getting paid a ‘minimum wage’ stipulated by the government when looking for a job. Accept the wage that is paid to you and get employed first. Second, try to increase your productivity by learning new skills (on the job or off the job via training/apprenticeship etc.). Your wages will increase with experience and learning as your productivity increases. There is no other way but hard work. Asking government for help will only hurt you. Businesses will also find out ways to by-pass such harmful acts and hire those who want to work.
