You didn't understand my article as well as the ground realities of India. It was BJP/RSS leaders and car sewaks who demolished Babri mosque to build the Ram temple. Ram temple has nothing to do with anything voluntary. Everything connected with the Ram temple has a basis in that criminal act. You can use theoretical economics in isolation. It must be used in context with the ground realities.

Sir,
I have read this article and I have some core disagreements with the way you have used the broken window fallacy and the reductio ad absurdum. When the Hindu Nationalist claims that the temple has created jobs, he would be correct in asserting this but not for the reason the Nationalist thinks. The Nationalist assumes that Keynesian spending leads to better economic outcomes. But in so far, as these jobs are not being created by force(via the government) and through the voluntary association of people, it would be beneficial. For example, the pilgrims who visits the temple, surely aims at maximising their psychic profit. Therefore, one cannot invoke broken windows to challenge this claim. Also, applying reductio ad absurdum to show that their argument is very weak, because they can just say that the goal is NOT to build more temples, but more general government investment(hospitals, education, roads etc). Also, I am not sure if the claim "the temple was built using taxes" is true. My friend, if he was not lying to me, told me that it is based off of voluntary donations to the temple trust, in which case, this type of spending would be legitimate under Austrian Economics as man is acting towards removing his greatest felt uneasiness. Maybe, I am wrong in the way I understand these concepts, a clarification would be appreciated.
